Overview:

An Infrastructure Engineer at Aezion is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure. You will ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of systems while optimizing performance and minimizing downtime. Your role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop robust infrastructure solutions that align with business goals. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, and servers, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end users.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings in Active Directory and other identity management systems.
  • Deploy and support enterprise applications, antivirus solutions, and security tools.
  • Configure and troubleshoot printers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
  • Assist with network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi, LAN, and VPN configurations.
  • Perform regular system updates, patch management, and security compliance.
  • Document technical procedures, solutions, and best practices for internal knowledge sharing.
  • Provide training and guidance to users on IT policies, security, and best practices

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in Windows & Linux desktop and server environments.
  • Experience with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Group Policy, and user management.
  • Knowledge of IT security is the best practice, antivirus solutions, and endpoint protection.
  • Strong skills in installing and configuring software, drivers, and updates.
  • Experience with remote desktop support tools.
  • Understanding basic networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Ability to support Office 365, email clients, and enterprise applications.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills for end-user support.
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified (MCP, MCSA), or ITIL are a plus.
